No, you can't convert a .mdb to an executable. You can create an .mde file, and use the free MS Access runtime.

Use "Make .mde file..." in Access to create a .mde, which is not editable.

The MS Access runtime is free, at Microsoft website. Previously it was only available in MS Office Developer. It should include a utility that creates an installer. Everything is there, except the database window, wizards, utilities, VBA editor, etc.

The .mdb extension is a Windows Access project file. The .mdb contains all the queries, reports, and data for the project. Windows Access prior to Office 2000 did not have the ability to discriminate the different user permissions. It could be done by writing a Visual Basic program to use the different scripts and you add security at the application level. It might be cheaper to upgrade to SQL (Office 2000-2003) where there is the functionality you are looking for.

db's is a word processor's way of writing C+. Executable files are complex and require graphics and art work to shell.

user-friendly, in basic terms rename database.mdb to database.exe ;-) heavily, nevertheless, there is not any real reason to do this, different than the incontrovertible fact that the guy on the different end would not have get entry to, wherein case, you are going to be able to desire to ought to export the element to XML or some thing like that.
