I just installed Windows 7 and on my first attempt to run it, after about 30 seconds and before I had a chance to do anything a blue screen came up that said a lot of stuff, but the title seemed to be "System Service Error" or something like that. My computer will start in safe mode with networking and not have the same problem, but I don't know what to do. I'm not really technologically inclined. Help!

Blue screen errors, or blue screen of death (BSOD) errors, are the most severe errors Windows can encounter. Since Windows can not recover from this kernel level error, a blue screen is displayed with the error details. The error details contain a STOP error code, which indicates the type of error.

There are a lot of possible causes for blue screen errors, but most of them relate to the computer hardware. The cause of a BSOD error can be a temperature problem, a timing error, a resource conflict, hardware failure, a corrupt registry, a virus or simply a device incompatibility or driver error.

In reality, the most common cause of blue screen errors is a device driver problem. Outdated, incorrect or corrupt drivers can cause the system to encounter a STOP error, resulting in the BSOD.So the easiest way to try and fix a blue screen error is to reinstall and update your system’s device drivers. This will ensure that all driver bugs are fixed and that all hardware has the correct driver. http://best-way-to-improve-pc-performance.com Scan your computer for free now!

There's a stop code on that screen - it's in the form of 0x00000yy - you need the yy part. Then go to http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm to see what it means and how to fix it. (Since the computer runs in safe mode, I'm guessing it's bad hardware or a bad driver for some hardware. Safe mode just doesn't run any hardware not needed to run Windows.) You may still need professional help (a good computer repair shop) when you know what the problem is, but at least you'll know what the problem is (so they can't sell you stuff you don't need - retail store "repair departments" often try to do that).

The easiest and fastest way to solve this problem is to run a registry cleaner software. A registry cleaner can eliminate errors in your record. This record stores all information about the software, drivers, applications and games that are installed on your computer. And in time, it can get bad, because some obsolete entries are not deleted and can lead to what they call the "blue screen of death."By using a registry cleaner http://make-a-computer-run-better.com the blue screen error can be eradicated and increases the speed of your computer in the process. In addition, the blue screen of death will not happen if you regularly check and care for your computer system.
