Question:
Run-time error 53. File not found?

I need some help. Every time I start my computer up, a box appears saying

Run-time error 53
File not found

I uninstalled and reinstalled the program that was most likely causing this error several times but it still appears. I'm not sure what else I can say, but help in getting rid of it would be greatly appreciated.

Would a system restore get rid of it?

The solution is usually to uninstall/reinstall. But that failed. The error usually occurs after you install some software and try to run the new program. The problem is that one or more files were not installed or were corrupted during the installation. Or the file .dd was not put in the correct place.

A system restore should fix this. Do a restore that dates right before the original installation.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: www.pchealthboost.me

Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.
