cannot find script file "c:\Documents and settings\Admin\Local settings\temp\.tt6.tmp.vbs"

Question

My computer was attacked by spyware and after deleting it by Antispiware,whenever i start the computer 'cannot find script file "c:\Documents and settings\Admin\Local settings\temp\.tt6.tmp.vbs" ' dialogue box appears. How to repair the system without formatting it and how to repair it by modifying\deleting some files in the system registry.

use ccleaner's registry cleaner to clean nonexisting startup entry.. or delete using sysinternals autoruns (delete entry with path pointing to wscript.exe / cscript.exe + "c:\Documents and settings\Admin\Local settings\temp\.tt6.tmp.vbs")

- Go to Run

-Type msconfig

- look for an entry like u mentioned [ "c:\Documents and settings\Admin\Local settings\temp\.tt6.tmp.vbs" ]

uncheck the box and click apply

If you had moved it to the quarantine you can restore it else put your OS disk inside go by the instructions and select repair option this will restore lost files.

yup its most likely safe that u can delete it. U can usually delete all the stuff in ur temp file, a lot of junk goes there and fills up ur comp.
