i have installed fedora 12 operating system in my personal computer.
i want to access internet to browse and mail.
i have attached modem and have purchased BSNL provider's username and password for my account.
but i dont know how to establish configuration of network device in fedora 12.
i have attached NIC card but it shows inactive.
i am new to use fedora 12.
could any one tell me how to achieve accessing internet connection in fedora 12 ?

The link that beast gave you will do the pastime. The cd is a stay cd. The stay usb would have the potential to place in Fedora. you could continually delete the fedora documents from the usb after the installation

first off all search the device that you connect to your pc after searching device

install software which comes with the device
