For some reason when I go to start a new document the page size is all to pot. I call call up previous documents and the pages are normal but as soon as I start a new page the document seems to fill up the whole screen so I can't actually see the page any more. Print preview shows everything but when I go back to normal then some of it's disappeared. I've spent nearly an hour and a half going through everything I can find to do with page resizing and I can't fix the problem. Can anyone help, please??!! Trying to make posters for a fundraiser and it's all gone wrong! Thank you.

Your problem has to do with the default template (normal.dot) that Word loads when a blank page is started. Word is supposed to ask, when you quit, if you wish to save changes to this form, but I think that can be turned off as well. Go into Help and look for Changing Normal.dot.

Check the page setup first. Instructions at http://www.nova.edu/techtrain/apptrain/word/pgsetup.html.

If this does not work, find and delete the file WORD.dot. This will generally resolve the issue.

Did you zoom out? examine for the zoom indicator and verify its set to one hundred% fairly than decrease, which might make the internet site look smaller. As for the cursor, it may desire to be which you're enhancing the header (that's a separate area on the actual of the internet site).

You are using a nOrmal View. Use a print view.

In the bottom bar there are icons to change this.

Click on the "view" tab.....it will allow you to change how you view the document...
