I have the 5.5 version of Skype, and I can't seem to figure out how to take a snapshot of the person I'm talking to. Because I can't find the snapshot button any more. Could anyone help me?

To take a video snapshot of another person:
1.Make a video call.
2.During the video call, at the top of the calling area click Snapshot.
3.The Snapshots gallery opens.
Use the left and right buttons to browse other video snapshots you have taken, or click Gallery to view a list of all your video snapshots.
To view your video snapshot files in Windows Explorer, click Locate.
4.To send the video snapshot to the person you are calling or another Skype contact, click Share and select the person.

In the conversation window where the video of the other person is, move your cursor to a position above the video a series of icons should appear one of which is the snapshot.

Click on the add button and click on "Take a picture" and it should take a picture of the person that you are video calling

How is this the "maximum suitable answer"? he's clearly speaking approximately an assumed (unknown!) 2d participant as some screenshots demonstrate "2 individuals" without him or his female pal inviting somebody to their chats. a chum of mine faces the comparable difficulty; she is doubtful wether yet somebody else is anonymously gazing/following her Skype calls. In her regard i could welcome a greater complex answer from anybody analyzing this. ;)
