How to make a 4X6 card using word??

How do I set up the page so that I can type out note cards for a class??

Off the top of my head, there are two approaches:

1) If you have existing 4x6 cards that you want to print to, under the Page Setup-Paper size tab, select Custom and enter the 4x6 dimensions.

2) If you'd rather print the cards to a regular sheet of paper and cut them out, choose Table--Insert Table; Number of columns = 1, Number of rows = 2; Fixed column width: 6". Next, select the table and choose Table--Table Properties. Under the row tab, specify a hight of 4". Since this option will only allow you to print 2 cards per page, you may want to consider 3" or 3.5" x 6" instead of 4 so you can fit 3 on a page. You can also adjust the margins to get more space. Also, add borders to the table to make it easier to cut out. Good luck!

go to word, select file-> page setup, go to the paper tab (i think) and adjust the paper size.
