Free Hide Folder Help?

Question

I have just reinstalled windows Vista home premium to factory defaults, But I had free hide folder software installed on system. and I had hidden many files and folders with the help of this software on C and D drive. Obviously my all files and folders on C has gone, but I can not see my hidden files and folders in D either. as the software "free hide folder" has gone while windows were being reinstalled. So I should see my files and folders in D atleast.

can you help me to see my files and folders in D please, and if possible to recover in C as well please.

As you probably know files deleted using usual methods can be easily recovered by a professional. In fact there is no 100% fool proof way to delete files permanently so that no one can ever recover them.



Try Recovering your files using Recuva(Freeware)

The problem you have is you removed the 'Free Hide Folder' From the computer.



It was installed in the C Drive i'm Presuming.



Have you Tried Installing it again? you may get lucky.

Most of these folder hiding programs just use windows to hide the folder via the windows explorer\tools\folder options. they Just mark them as hidden. All you need to do it go to the location I just listed and check show hidden folders.

if you did not back up the hidden folders before reinstalling vista the files are gone

umm ive in no way pay attention of this software, yet attempt to view hidden documents and folders kit -> folder suggestions/settings -> view tab -> coach hidden documents and folders (could desire to not be ultimate names, reason my pc is in norwegian, even though it may be some thing comparable)
