Hey, I want to put some movies that I got off the pirate bay and put them on a DVD. No, they are not illegal, i made sure the copyright it up.

Anyways, I have a DVD burner drive in my laptop but need a little help.

1) What is the best Free DVD burning software?

2) Can I burn multiple Movies on to one DVD-R disk in one wrighting session?

3) Will a standard DVD player that is hooked up to a TV be able to read them?

4) Are there only certain file types that can be burned and/or readable?

Thank you for your help. I use windows and Ubuntu and have burned CDs many times, just never burned a DVD.

any movie you download IS illegal. unless you own an original copy of a DVD it would be illegal to have a copy of that video.

Nero is the ultimate burning tool but isn't free.

convertXtoDVD is a good free program. you choose any video files on yer computer and it converts them to fit the disc.. but the more files you try to fit on the lower quality the movie will be. so dont overload the disc

If you want to fit/burn multiple movies to one DVD, then play well on home DVD player, you should use the right software, no poor freeware, usually free version only have the basic functions and poor video quality, i have used the good and inexpesive trial version RZ DVD Creator, it can create standard video DVD from any movies, it can burn mulit movies to one disc, it can auto fit the size, it can easy add professional dynamic DVD menu, it can create 5.1 AC-3 surround

sound DVD from any movies, it can directly convert and burn any videos to DVD(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-DL, DVD+DL, etc), such as avi to DVD, etc.

Work well on my computer, good quality, easy to use, inexpensive, following is a step by step guide about RZ DVD Creator:

Hope it can help you.
