Question:
Game won't play music after being burned to a new CD...?

I have the PC versions of these two old games (Sonic R and Sonic 3D blast) I've been trying to burn them to a new CD, since they're old and the original CDs are starting to get pretty scratched. I've burned new CDs, and everything works fine, except for the fact that there's no music. The sound effects work fine, but neither game has any music unless I use the original CDs. I've tried making a .iso, and that doesn't seem to work, and all the volume settings are right, and the music is on in the options for the games. Both iTunes and Windows Media Player recongize the game as an audio CD, and will rip the music if I tell them to. But even if I put the ripped music onto the new CD, it still won't work. I'm completely lost. I thank you for any answers.

Make Virtual CD of your old CDs using any of the virtual programs such as Virtual CD, Alcohol etc and burn that image onto CD-R. It will copy all your required files onto new CD.

secondly you can copy your CD using 1:1 option it will copy entire map of your CD onto new CD

Hope your problem will be solved

If your trying to rip the music onto a cd, then make sure you are ripping it to the right file format. Some file formats cannot be played on windows media player and itunes. If this is the case, download vlc player. It's free and plays almost every file format for movies and music. Hope this helps, good luck!
