I have some MP3 files on my computer that won't work in WMP 11, but palyed in QuickTime, which I hate to use. ASIDE from the K-Lite codec package, is there anything I can download to make the songs play in WMP11; I already have K-Lite installed, it's obviously not working.

download a klite codec pack. when installing integrate it into your windows media player.

when you install it, it gives you the option to integrate into Quick time allready checked, but you have to select to integrate windows media player. you probably just missed that box wasnt checked.

install crystal video player - run your MP3 files - it will then download the codec you need - once this is done you'll be able to play the file in windows media player - it's a pain to have to do this, but media player simply never downloads what it needs

Do you have your sound card put in with cutting-edge drivers? Drivers are oftentimes ignored while a clean setting up is finished. Do you have related audio gadget with the sound became on and the quantity point up?
