how to open a crupt excel file?

I was just working on my worksheet suddenly my computer got restarted i try to find my file but it was not on its location i used recovery software but i just able to get .tmp file and i m unable to repair it is a very very important file please cam any one tell me how to can i get the Original file

When you open Excel, you should see a message saying there was an unsaved backup file that was recovered. You only have one shot at recovering the file and save it. If it didn't show up then it's already gone or erased.

you say you got the ".temp" file.....open excel and then drag and drop the temp file on the open excel. the file may open.
