java version problem help really needed?

java ( tm ) 6 update 3 and i hav vista

nothing else java related downloaded

now the problem im having is when i try to load

when i try to play games neededing java they lag so freken bad and sometimes dont even load.

they do load sometimes if im really lucky then after a bit they mess up extremly bad

i think it has to do with my java version can someone tell me if i need a new java

it might be a problem with Vista.., most of the softwares are not installing properly on Vista which is why we still use XP in our IT Systems development and linux for deployment..



Try to get XP or try to uninstall java and install JAva 1.4 which might be compatiable for all the plugins..

Sounds like vista is eating all your computers memory and hogging your system. Try upgrading your memory. If I were going to be playing games on a vista system I would have at least 3gb memory.
