When I Try to install my FIFA original DVD on my PC the installation does not start and a message is displayed saying "Error reading from file autorun.dat. Verify that the file exists and you can access it." The game seems to be working fine on my laptop.

Read the End User License Agreement FIRST. Once installed on your laptop, you likely need to buy a second Game Disk for your other PC.

Best guess: Your PC is infected with malware that's messing with the "DAT" file on the CD, or, your CD Rom drive is defective.

There's a file on the DVD "autorun.inf" which specifies what to "autorun" so somewhere in the autorun.inf file this autorun.dat file is specified and for one reason or another can't be read. If the game works, don't worry about it.
