ok i realy need help with windows updates?

Question

1.Every time i shut down my pc it updates windows 7

2.I go in to widows updates and most of the updates have faalied

just tell me in the comments how to mae them sucsessfull and how to stop it from updating every time i shut it down thanks : )

I have my Windows Updates set so I can look at any available updates and decide which one(s) I wish to download. If you have your computer set so Windows automatically checks for updates and downloads them automatically, that could be the problem. Not all Windows Updates will work on every Microsoft Windows operating system. You could also get updates you really don't want. You can also set a time for Windows Updates to search and download. or do it manually. I have my computer set to advise me when updates are available so I can check them out and download the ones I want/need.

If all else fails you could i suppose check the HDD for errors...

I just had this issue and was ripping my hair out....turns out the hard drive was completely full so no room to install any new updates....
