There's no need to Extract anything from your iPod.

Get your computer's hard drive repaired, or replaced, and re-install Windows. Then re-install iTunes. Using iTunes, log into the iTunes Store with the User Name and Password that you originally used to BUY all your music.

Connect your iPod, turn it on, and SYNC it. The iTunes Store will download everything you ever bought, to your PC AND to your iPod.

There is no way to do that. Now, if you had a different brand of player other than Crapple, then you would drag-n-drop as if the player were an external drive. No problem. But Crapple won't allow you to do that. There may be professional services that can do this for you, but they charge a lot.

And the reason your hard drive crashed is because of all the Taylor Swift garbage you put on it. That will destroy any hard drive in short order. Your iPod is next. Be warned!
