There's nothing on my desktop except my wallpaper and the startup toolbar!

I just downloaded a psp downgrader file about half an hour ago and when I tried to move one file to my psp, McAfee antivirus discovered a trojan in the file and wouldn't let me move it, so I disabled McAfee to move the file to my psp and then enabled it a few seconds later. Afterwards I ran a scan on my computer, and 1 file was detected and removed. Then my internet slowed down by a lot and when I clicked the "Show Desktop" icon nothing showed on my desktop at all.
Can someone please help explain what to do right now?

I'm doing a scan right now, but so far nothing has been detected yet. I'm so scared my computer's going to crash :(

You did a real smart thing in disabling the antivirus....

why dont u just remove it and live happily with viruses anyway...

btw...slowness of your machine is due to the fact the trojan executed on your machine while you were being smart and now your computer is a host of trojans and open ports.....

Have a nice time fixing it!

Do an emergency shut down, kill the power to your cpu and reboot the system. i had that happen to me two days ago. system re started ok. someone may have a better way but this worked for me.
