It doesn't have to be lion, but i would like to boot a newer OS X on my windows PC using a USB drive. If it doesn't work with USB i can burn to a DVD drive, but i don't want to do it on a virtual machine.

Mac Os is designed to install and run only on Apple motherboards. There is no legal way to run Mac Os on non-Apple hardware.

there are a lot of "problems" in installing Mac OS on a PC.
Classic Mac OS and Mac OS X 10.0 - 10.3 are only possible in an emulator. Mac OS X is especially slow in an emulator.
Mac OS X 10.4 and later will not install or even boot on a standard PC by default. You have to patch a DVD image or download one off the internet.
There are few drivers available. Unless your hardware is similar to that of a standard Mac or a peripheral one could install in a Mac Pro, it is unlikely to work.
It's illegal.
To have even a remote possibility of installing Mac OS X on your PC, you will need a Pentium 4 or an AMD that supports SSE2. SSE3 is better.

stable question, I in simple terms partitioned my trickycontinual on my Mac to help homestead windows, besides the incontrovertible fact that it relatively is impossabe to flow from homestead windows to mac. Apple won't assist you purchase a homestead windows computer and deploy Mac on it. i'm sorry, besides the incontrovertible fact that it relatively is impossable.

I think you can. I recently ran the chrome OS off a flashdrive and it worked perfectly fine.
