can you still find out the author info from a pdf file converted from MS word.


the open office doc converted from Ms word still keep the original info.
example, the file was 3 pages,
i reduced it to 2 pages and saved it as open office doc.
every time I open it, it first shows there are 3 pages in the bottom bar, then it shows there are 2 pages.

yes sure, on the relevant pdf you can see it in the acrobat reader on file>>>properties

but the problem here seems a bit different than what you've asked here.

That depends, if your PDF creators can keep the original author info, then you can see the info in Adobe Reader. Click File->Properties->Description.
