problem with virtualbox?

hi i have virtualbox 4.2.12 when i try to install virtualbox extension pack it gives an error message like this
Failed to install the Extension Pack C:/Documents and Settings/Dell/Desktop/New Folder/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.2.12-84980.vbox-extpack.
