open up cmd by going to start> cmd or start>run type in cmd then enter or windows key+R then type cmd then ok

now in dos cmd type in

dir /d /s c:\ > c:\mydir.txt



this will structure every file/folder into a txt file ok



the command above will do c:\ drive to change it to your HDD if its diffrent say a usb



dir /d /s "change this letter to your drive":\ > "Change this letter if you want it to save to a diffrent location":\mydir.txt

The default view setting is to show all files and folders if nothing is typed into the search bar. Search results are lightning fast. To list all files in a text document, sort by how you want them sorted (size, path, whatever) then click on file> export.



Note: Sorting can take a long time if you are sorting every file on the hard drive. Also, click on tools> options> volumes and make sure all partitions are included to be indexed. The program lists all files, including hidden and protected system files. In options you can exclude folders you don't want included in search results.

i have a seagate tera byte hardrive that lets you do that but not the 2nd question you are going to have to type it yourself
