Report the problem to Launchpad by way of Bug Buddy. Also you may want to go to Synaptic Package Manager type in gtkpod and right click and find out in properties what dependencies are required. Also go to the Ubuntu forums and see if anyone else has had the same issue. Good Luck!

you need to use a debian package or something in the add/remove applications. its the easiest way. what do you need to install? you can usualy just search for "software name ubuntu deb" where software name is the name of your software
