I am using Windows 7 64-bit on a new PC. Created a new PDF using Adobe Acrobat 9.0 trial version.
PDF is sized for large format prints 36"x48". Entire document is 152 pages long.

When I send the PDF to my printer or the printer at the local Staples center, the job just hangs in the queue. Nothing prints out.

What am I doing wrong? How do I get it to print out? Its very urgent and I need it for my job..

Thanks

The problem is Adobe 9. Try an older version like 7.

Color printers require some use of the black cartridge in order to set the shade of the color. Some printers have a feature that will use just the color cartridges in cases where the black runs out but most dont. If your printer supports this and if you have the full software installed from its manufacturer it will usually prompt you or pop up a message saying that it is switching to color cartridges to emulate the black cartridge (at least thats what mine does).
