So i am trying to watch a movie in my TV, the thing is that i downloaded a movie via torrent and the movie comes with 2 audio tracks, the one is english the other one is english + the director comments through all the movie, now i copied the movie to an USB flash device, because my TV has USB reader, the movie plays and it is all ok, but the thing is by default it has chosen the audio with the director commentating, knowing that there is no way that the TV gives you an option to change tha audio my question is: How can i remove the audio with the commentating and leave it only with the original english? Is there a way to copy the movie but only with the 1 (selected) audio?

Help!

WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe can help you keep whichever audio track for you!

Open the mkv in Avidemux. Click on Audio on the menu bar select the audio track you want to keep (main track). For video select "copy", for audio select "copy". For format select mkv. Click the save button. The movie will be copied/saved with only the one audio track that you chose. Be sure to include the file extension .mkv when you name the file you are saving.

Here is detailed introduction on how to remove sound from MKV files on Windows Movie Maker from Faasoft website article named "Remove Audio from Video - Remove Sound from Video on Mac and Windows":

If you are a Windows user, you can also give Windows Movie Maker a try. Here are the concrete steps:

1. Import the video to a new project and add it to timeline;

2. Click on the bit of the video you want to mute;

3. Click on "Clip" at the top of the screen;

4. Click on audio;

5. Click on mute.

Cons: This way only mute the audio from video rather than delete the audio from video. Furthermore, if your operating system is Mac or your source files are incompatible with Windows Movie Maker, the way will not work at all.
