I am looking for the best way to run windows on my MacBook pro.

My main concern is something that will run smoothly.

My second concern is something that will be easy to use.

My third concern is price.

I have MAC OS X 10.5.8.... I have 4GB of RAM.

The specific software I am trying to install is business plan pro: http://www.paloalto.com/business_plan_software/

The best way is to sell your mac and get a pc! I fail to see the logic in buying an overpriced, over rated mac to run windows.

Everyone is doing the right thing. Macs are better, no competition. Do I even know where to begin? Macs have iLife, with which you can make HD movies, enhance photos, and even make songs. They also have had Microsoft Office since 2004. Also, their desktops can produce sound without speakers. You can even run PC software on Macs. And on Macs, you won't get as many viruses, and it's easier to upgrade software. As for which kind, I recommend the MacBook Pro, 17".

There are really 3 programs you should look at: VMWare Fusion, Parallels Desktop, and Virtual Box. All of them work pretty well, but the VMWare and Parallels desktops are nicer and probably run a bit more smoothly. The advantage of VirtualBox is that it's a free download, while you have to pay for the others. All of them are easy to use- just choose to make a new virtual machine, stick the Windows install disk in the computer, and then boot it up.
