Is this possible? Also, can I automatically number each row?

I didn't get exactly what you mean by "automatically creates a row at every new line?"
if you mean you need to convert a text into a table where each line is stored in a single row you can do it. if you have word 2007.
1) go to "Insert" form the "Table" button. select "convert text to Table"
2) select 1 as the number of columns .
3) in the "Separate text at" choose "Paragraph".
hopefully you will solve it.

The easiest way to create a new row in a table in MS Word is to place your cursor outside the last cell and click the Return/Enter button. You cannot auto-number the rows, you will have to type them in yourself.

word makes use of types to generate the table of contents. What you should do is assign a kind to each and every and each of your headings, then once you circulate to Insert - Reference - table of Contents, word will %. up the form headings and immediately generate a table of contents. i'm unsure which version of word you have, yet i take advantage of word 2003.
