Sounds like you set Explorer as your default. Next time open Firefox from the programs list and when it opens and asks if you want to set it as default for internet tick Yes.
Right choice dumping IE - it's terrible compared to Firefox or Opera.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 is supposed to be more secure and has the ability to filter out phishing sites, however if you don't like any of Microsoft Internet browsers you could try downloading for free Mozilla's Firefox Internet browser.

That is not because of the Error. It is because when you open an WebPage its title is displayed over there. Since you open your Yahoo Answers with your question you would find Microsoft Internet Explorer? written there with a - and Windows Internet Explorer/Microsoft Internet Explorer/Mozilla Firefox

Excellent choice going to FireFox, you don't want to be using IE.
Make sure you have set your default browser to be FireFox this can be done when you open FireFox, it should ask you if you want it to be the default or not.

Perhaps you set it as your default internet/web browser. Just go to your computer properties links and change it to firefox
