Adobe Flash Player Is Driving Me Insane..?

Okay, so I've tried numerous times to watch a video on YouTube and I receive the same message every time: "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash Player."

When I click the link to get the latest Flash Player, I am directed to the Adobe website with a download screen. Upon clicking the download link, I am then directed to a new screen with instructions on how to run the program. I am then prompted to wait until the yellow bar appears at the top of my screen and proceed from there. Here is the problem; as I move my cursor over to the yellow bar my computer then switches screens to reveal a page that says there is a web error. It happens every time and never ceases to irritate me. From this point I decided to try a new approach.

I have tried taking off Adobe Flash Player and then reinstalling it back. However, here I was greeted with another problem. When I tried to reinstall Flash Player, I tried avoiding the yellow bar and scrolling down to where there was a link in case the download didn't start immediately. Upon clicking it the download started and I allowed myself a bit of relief. That was indeed a mistake; a script error appeared saying that the download could not be continued. I tried multiple times all to no avail.

I have indeed scanned my computer for problems and came up with nothing. If it helps I have the AVG program. I have also tried restarting and powering off my computer. What is going on? Any theories are greatly appreciated :)

sounds like a common error i have seen when a user is not the administrator flash player doesn't always recognize that your not an administrator and fails during the process instead of telling you you need to be admin... i suggest one of two things if you are an administrator and its just not running as one because of windows download the file to my documents and right click on it and run as administrator or log onto the main administrator acct on the machine if your still having problems i would try adobe.com help section or email them in there contact section

AVG may possibly be blocking your computer from downloading files from the internet. What operating system do you have? If you have Vista you might need to check and make sure you are listed as the administrator as the "administrator" based system has flaws. Hope this helps.

try:

1) uninstall flash player.

2) update AVG and your web browser.

3) google "filehippo flash player" and download from filehippo.com.

4) install flash player.

5) if that didn't work, install an alternative web browser, such as google chrome or mozilla firefox.

while ever you delete courses and prefer to reinstall them, you may desire to be certain no itemizing or folder for that application is left at the back of in the courses itemizing. deploy and uninstall in basic terms know the thank you to eliminate what it put in, it does not know the thank you to delete or eliminate any documents created by potential of that application in that folder consisting of settings or documents documents, so once you attempt to reinstall those latest documents will intervene with a reinstall. i'm hoping this would be of a few help.
