how to lower the decrease the file size of pictures?

im trying to store my pics in a usb which is only 64 mb.. how do i lower the file size of my pics?

u can do it using microsoft picture manager which comes with office 2003

open the pic in a graphic editor and save it using another file name with less resolution.



Microsoft Photo Editor does this well.



Use File> Save As > click on MORE and use the slider to decrease the quality which makes the size of the file smaller.



You can use MS Paint as well. Open the pic use File > Save As > click on File Type and select GIF.



You can also use both products to reduce the size of pic. Use Image > Resize and make the image smaller.

WHY?



Because, for less than $ 20, you can buy a 2 - 4 GB USB Flash Drive and save your photos in their original size.

I downloaded IrfanView to decrease the size of my photos, works great.
