"The outline is too long to read in its entirety" (Powerpoint) Is the File Corrupted?

Hey.

I created a power point presentation to go with my English coursework, and i made it on powerpoint 07 at home. I brought it in on a memory stick, and then edited it etc at school (school has office 2004) it was fine, and now when when i try to load it the school computers it gives me the message ' the outline is too long to read in its entirety' and tall of the pictures and text has been replaced with just random letters all over the screen. Whats wrong? Can i recover it?

I only just noticed this a minute ago ( im at school) so i havent tested it at home yet.

The other day i got a message on my memory stick saying ' The memory stick was taken out during a file transfer, please scan and fix' Ive only ever had thaty message a few times, but there was never anything wrong with the files after.

Microsoft Office doesn't "work backwards" In other words, you can create a presentation in PP '04 and open it in PP '07, but to create in '07 and try open in '04 doesn't work.

Once you get home and open in 07, try saving it as an older version of PP. (Should give that option)

Conflicting versions of PowerPoint is probably the answer. If you are using earlier versions then I advise you when using 2007 to save in earlier versions. However, this is the second time today I have seen Office 2004 mentioned. Didn't know there was one, although am thinking it is for different windows system?
