For those who don't have a CDROM drive, or are having driver issues with their CDROM drive and can't load XP from a bootable CDROM disk, you can do a boot install from the floppy disk drive (if you have one). You will need SIX 1.44Mb floppy disks (click on the link below to take you to the Micro$oft site to download the disks).

hey you need a win xp cd to install XP and tht CD does all if you have any type of setup saved in your hard disk then you need to acess that folder through a bootable CD via MSDOS and in that you will find a folder named i386 and in that search for file or juste type "setup.exe".

If you have a BOOTABLE Windows XP Set Up CD then you can install from DOS. Foramt your system, then at startup, insert your CD. If it is bootable, SetUp will run automatically

ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT DOS

I RE-FORMAT MINE WHEN AND FROM MY DISC BY TURNIN OFF MY MACHINE AND (OF COURSE SAVING ALL THE GOOD TO FLOPPY)

WITH THE DISC IN THE DRIVE AND TURN IT BACK ON AND BOOT FROM CD PRESS ENTER
