Do you guys know of any word processors for a Mac OS X 10.4.11 that are COMPLETELY compatible with Microsoft Word? I tried Open Office but I use word with ALOT of bullets and whenever I switch from Open Office to Word all the bullets lose their sub-bullets and sub-sub bullets so they all go to the left side of the page if that makes any sense.... XD also you need Windows 7 Word for that and I do not have Windows 7 Word.

The only program that is completely compatible with Microsoft Word is Microsoft Word itself. Every other program has to interpret the instructions in a Word document and adjust what it finds to fit the capabilities that the other program has. There will always be translation issues - especially relating to fonts (as you saw with OpenOffice), charts, graphs, shadows, SmartArt, shading, etc.

Microsoft Word is a Mac product (it was ported from the Mac to DOS and Windows), so you can be sure the Windows port is compatible. OpenOffice is a Windows product and is an Office knock-off. Don't expect free and cheap knock-offs to be completely compatible with real Mac software like Microsoft Office.

No Macbooks don't come with any Microsoft office product. Sorry.. but they might come with Apple's typing program which is just as good. You can type anything on a PC and you will be able to edit it on a mac provided you have the same software or software that is capable of reading it.. eg. you type in a Word file on a PC, you should be easily able to open/edit on a mac. yes. You will NOT be disappointed with a MacBook. You will love it. Get one and be happy.

Try iWork 2009 It works fine for me! It costs something like 79 $ but its well worth it, if you download a free trial from Apple you can find serial keys everywhere on the web to keep it forever (changes from trial to paid download)

Heres the official website and download page

And heres some serial numbers you can try
