I absolutely CANNOT download java runtime enviroment. omg...

Question

I have a compaq laptop and it had an older version of java (1.4) when i downloaded limewire it stated well popped up that i needed java runtime 5.0 or higher so when i went to download runtime every error message in the book appeared whenever i tried any of the solutions. this is bugging the he doublehockeysticks outta me. ive tried everything including downloading it offline and through mozilla firefox plug in. help?

I went to this site for adobe reader, it tells me "By clicking download, blah, blah." But the is no download. I can't see it I can't download a flashplayer and my yahoo mail page is all big lettered and spaced out.

try using a diffrent browser, or even a diffrent computer... if you use a diffrent pc, then burn the downloaded install file onto a disk, then install it on your pc from the disk.. thats a weird glitch--unless your using an old browser. also, try uninstalling limewire, then upgrading your java, then installing limewire again

attempt to do a residing house windows replace (manually) and notice if it particularly works. you in addition to mght want java to do the updates and if it needs to be as much as date it is going to the two supply you the alternative or will do it rapidly.
