It could be spyware!

First check were the iexplore.exe is in you drive.

The original iexplore.exe location is "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer"

Download CurrProcess from and run it:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/cprocess.html

And see the locations from where iexplore.exe is running. If it's other than "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer" then it spyware for sure!

Download spybot s&d and ad-aware 2007. update then and then run scan and clean your system! both are free!

You also have to consider that it is a virus. When you try to disable the task .. it auto starts.. Its because it , whatever it is, always is told to RUN , no matter what. Installing adobe reader should NOT ask to to close anything... or if it does .. its asks you and closes the necessary windows itself. Though when I installed adobe... I was not required to do anything but click OK. I suggest 1 of 2 things....

GO to ewido.net.

Download the avg anti-virus , malware... scanner... Full Version is FREE for 30 Days... After that you can choose to upgrade , or go with the BASIC. ( I decided to buy... 2 yrs for $40 .... I love it..) Anyway after you download.. it will do an inital scan. The reason I love this particular one is ... there are some tabs... where you can see your processes running... like a Task manager... Also there is one labled autostart... and shows you what opens when your PC is turned on.. normally there are ALOT of things that start.,... and that REALLY SLOWS your pc. LEt the test do its work... clean your PC and Restart.. then try your download again....

OR 2...

WHen you go to the site to download... choose SAVE ( place on desktop) instead of OPEN. This was the EXE file is on the desktop. Then you can disconnect manually from the internet and open it from the DESKTOP to Unload it.

In Task Manager right click on the process you want to end and select End Task.

If iexplore.exe starts back up on its own, you have spyware/adware/malware (what I collectively call crapware). Go to www.download.com and get spybot and ad-aware. Install them. Update them (important). Run them and let them delete all they find.

I think you need to go to IE tools and set IE so that it doesn't start when the computer is turned on or running. Sorry, I don't know where it is, but I'm sure it's there somewhere.

hi? you may, yet, in case you do, nicely, you will have a not basic time attempting to get it lower back. you notice, this iexplore.exe is the approach used to have the purposes on your computer. they're extensively utilized for the taskbar. good success attempting to get it lower back in case you terminate it.
