Please visit www.pendrivelinux.com

You must first download unetbootin a program for windows.

Read a tutorial and install the ISO onto the USB. Simple.

Now it gets different. If you choose the fedora USB creator you

Are given an option to create a loop or persistent memory. This is where you will keep your data. Read their articles on persistent installs with pendrive Linux 08 or 09. It walks you through. It is also easy to boot from USB. Press escape at start or f12 and select the device can even be sd card. Boot, and the data will persist. Good luck.

I used Sabayon (best) ubuntu, opensuse, and am looking at iPhone Linux. I'm 15 LOL.

I would ask the Geek's over at craigslist, Discussion Forums, Computers. They will spend time with you on this.
