I recently updated my laptop which originally came with Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 (MS free update) and it worked fine since then. But now it starts to lag a lot with unwanted applications. I found out there is a tool called Reset this PC (for Win10) and I want to try it. It says that I will be loosing all the programs. I don't mind loosing all the programs since I can manually install what I have installed. But I'm not sure how to install driver soft-wares. Will they automatically update from Windows update?

Note that my laptop didn't came with any driver CDs or anything regard that matter. Also the Windows 8.1 OS was preinstalled since I don't have its disk or key.

Stepping back using anything other than the built-in options (within 30 days of upgrade) would be a BAD move and risk you ending up with a non-genuine non-licensed system.

If it is more than 30 days, then you no longer have a Windows 7 license. So you would need to buy a new Windows License.

Percentage wise, MANY more people have problems stepping back, than have problems with Windows 10.

Some might get installed, but there is no guarantee.

I doubt that will make your computer faster.
