I have a school project and I need to put the info on a powerpoint but I don't have it on my computer. Is there a free trial I can download somewhere, and if I use a free trial will it let me save and import stuff to a CD? Can you even put stuff from powerpoint on a CD? It's due tomorrow, I procrastinated. Help?

You can download a 60 day trial version from Microsoft http://us1.trymicrosoftoffice.com/product.aspx?sku=3203819&culture=en-US

or you can install Open Office (Always Free)http://www.openoffice.org/

I would go with Open Office / Impress, and make sure I save the file in a .ppt format so that you can share the file with Power Point users.

By the way, there may be a little learning curve but nothing to slow you down.

Get OpenOffice, it's a free alternative to Microsoft Office and it contains powerpoint, its not a free trial; it last forever.

It can open and save Microsoft Powerpoint files. (.ppt)

I'm not sure that you'd be able to save your work but since the trial is free, it won't hurt to try. It's a component of Microsoft office so it looks like you have to download the whole program to access it, but it is there.

If not, check with your local public library to see if they have it on their computers. You can save it to disc when you're done and turn it in.

Use OpenOffice.org. It has a presentation program called Impress that is PowerPoint-compatible.

If your computer is Windows compatible it should of came with some discs to download PowerPoint, if not ask your friends, you need to download it...or just go buy it maybe. You could always see if you can download it from the internet.
