I am trying to download notes from my teacher's blog and I want to print it out in the outline option that powerpoint 2007 has, but when I download it, it keeps opening in powerpoint viewer. Does anyone know if maybe I can delete viewer, then would all the powerpoints open in the regular powerpoint presentation maker? or is there any other way??? I would rather not delete viewer from my pc because it hurts the hard drive.

one more thing... I already tried saving the powerpoint to my pc first and it still opens in viewer...so saving it first does not help... and viewer only has one printing option, which is printing out each single page..such a waste of paper

When you say deleting the viewer hurts the hard drive, that makes no sense. I have never heard of what you said there.

Do you have powerpoint software on your computer? If you do, then why do you have a viewer? The viewer is for people who don't have Powerpoint software. You don't need both. So if you have the software, then uninstall the viewer. If you do not have Powerpoint software, then you need the viewer so you can, well, view it. That's all the viewer is for -- to allow people who don't have Powerpoint software to be able to view Powerpoint files.

If you want the full version of PowerPoint you can get it at a dramatically reduced price because you are a student:

http://www.microsoft.com/student/

If you want a completely free version of Microsoft PowerPoint (from Microsoft, this is not a knock-off) to view and do light editing use docs.com

Don't double click on the file to open it. Go to your Start menu and launch the full PowerPoint program. Then use Open and find the file. That should do it!
