There are many registry cleaners in the market which claim Vista compatible, however, almost all of them are NOT compatible with Vista and NOT Vista aware at all. Using such registry cleaners on Vista systems often corrupt your registry and cause more problems than they can fix.

Malwarebyte is an aggressive software and regrettably can do too lots to restoration viruses and different issues. often times working it is going to get rid of concepts this is mandatory from the registry and reason the subject concerns you have listed. Upgrading to homestead windows 7 could "in all possibility" restoration the subject concerns. yet no assure as a results of fact the improve would not replace the completed registry. It consists of over lots of the settings from the Vista deploy so as that already put in courses and possibilities would be preserved. If the lacking registry entries are between those preserved, then the improve won't paintings. in case you have (or can get your arms on) a duplicate of Vista DVD then you definitely can attempt a 'restoration' of Vista rather. Boot from the disk and enable the Vista deploy run. while you're provided a metamorphosis to press "R" to run the restoration console, pass that and proceed with the deploy. perfect once you press F8 to recognition the license you would be provided a option to press "R" to repair the present deploy. that's what you go with. A restoration deploy will in common terms replica over the default gadget information and settings that have been there while Vista became first put in. it won't delete any of your information and shouldn't avert your put in courses from persevering with to paintings. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it is going to repair the concern with the registry via putting returned each and every of the intense default information and entries. I rather have recovered many desktops with this situation this way.

CCleaner works perfectly fine on Vista, I use it myself. As for others i'm not sure, but there's no reason why you can't use registry cleaners on Vista
