I just got Adobe Acrobat Pro and I thought my issues with creating PDF's would disappear forever but NO.

ACrobat Pro asks me to upload a file when i click on 'Create New PDF' tab. So i tried typing the entire thing in word and upload it using ACrobat Pro but error shows some"stuff" missing.

Any idea on what i might be missing out on?

Tried converting directly from MS word after downloading their software from Microsoft but cannot find a 'convert to PDF' option anywhere in word.

Kindly advice.

Thank You!

Download and install Microsoft Office 2007 Add-in: Microsoft Save as PDF/XPS @

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=7

To save

In word 2010/2007 you can directly say Save As PDF and the type the file name and Pdf profile (Distribution, PDFX1,2,3 etc) and save.

A PDF file is created using Adobe Acrobat (not the Adobe Acrobat Reader). Any document in phrase, ppt, and so forth. Structure will also be transformed to a PDF using the adobe distiller which is provided by using Adobe Acrobat. However you dont get that factor without spending a dime as the Adobe Reader. One has to purchase that application.

Acrobat should not be asking you to upload anything. Make document. Save.

For the benefit of others needing to produce PDF : Download a free PDF printer ( google it and pick one... ), then print to it from any program.

you can do it directly in word 2010 without any other software.

File-> Save and Send->Create PDF/XPS Document->click the create button

from there it will bring up a save window.

under the save as file type make sure you have selected PDF not XPS.

that should do it.

Good luck
