I'm getting a physical memory dump when I watch videos on youtube, or record videos, etc...

Heres the VERY LONG error message...

"A problem has been detected and Windows has shut down your computer to prevent damage
to your computer.

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

If this is your first time you've seen this this error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer
for any Windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware
or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart
your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then
select Safe Mode.

PTDUMdm.sys looks like the driver for a USB mobile broadband adapter. If you use it while the system is crashing, try removing it and see if the computer still crashes. If it doesn't, that's likely the culprit. Reinstall the software, contact the manufacturer, or trade the device in for a different one.

If you don't use it, try uninstalling the software altogether.

Generally I blame the Hard Disk for BSODs but this could very well be a memory issue.

First the cheap tests. First update Adobe Flash and your browser, then update your video drivers and try again.

next if its still acting up

Try booting from a windows 7 home premium install and do a repair. It may or may not find anything

after that I would try memtest86 from memtest86.com. Its free but its going to take a while to run this should see if your memory is bad

If you are still experiencing the issues I recommend buying SpinRite from grc.com its not all that cheap but it is for sure the best Hard Drive utility out there. I don't think this is your issue but its possible.

After that if it is still not working the easiest way would be to do a backup wipe and re install This means you backup your programs and files you want to save onto an external HD or a whole set of DVDs then you re install windows....

There are probably a few other places you could look but your going to start digging through some important parts of the system that you probably wont want to touch

This is just one of compatibility issues for your USB Modem Device Driver to Windows 7 64-bit OS

Try looking for a compatible driver for your modem and if you cant find it, try to borrow the other modem and see if this solves problem. If it does, consider changing modems. :)

You should try first running CCleaner to fix any error in your computer. Also you should check which programs are running while you are online. It is very weird that you are getting those issues with 8 gigas of memory.

Hi,

You can download Adobe Falsh Player here http://j.mp/1p3PyAN

The only program you need if you can't watch videos or if you see a black screen is Adobe Flash Player. It's a necessary plug-in that allows you to reproduce videos online.

Reset USB modem and check for new driver update in device manager.
