Existing user has left employer and I want to be able to change the "ownership" of her Word docs so that the footer that I want to show on the printed page shows my file location and not her's. I want to be able to alter as a batch around 250 documents. Can this be done?

If you are into VBA, you can write a macro in Word to open all files in a given folder and replace the text.

It will take you a while to learn it if yuo've enver done it before, but writing MAcros is a good skill if you often work in MS Office.

Go to WINDOWS EXPLORER, locate all the files you require to be changed and select. If it is a block of consecutive files hold the SHIFT key and select the first file in the list then the last file in the list. If the files are scattered then hold the CTRL key while you select each file. Then drag them to the new location, or copy and past to new location.

while you're employing this equipment, M/S workplace and the notice application it does keep by employing it self with the extension .checklist. Now in case you replaced the call of the checklist you have basically typed, ie,,,,,,"my checklist", it will be now ,mydocument.checklist. Why cos you're employing a "notice processor" comparable as in case you utilize notepad or notice, those are all notice processors and could keep as .checklist. in case you want to alter the report extension, make specific this equipment you're employing can use that extension.often there's a itemizing of extension in kit or ideas, which you will artwork with.
