Hello guys , i have a HP laptop and i've windows 7 os put in it . I was wondering whether i can install windows xp on in as i'm having troubles with W7 . I'm asking you if i could do that considering i don't have the drivers for my sound card ( they didn't give me anything when i bought my lap so can it be ...ya know kinda inbuilt or something ? ) and if i did manage to install xp on my lap will my graphics card and sound card support xp , or do you think there isn't a problem about it ?

if you have any doubt about my question please , edit it in , i'll be here :-)

They actually partition a space on your HD to house all the drivers. What is the model number and I can walk you through it.

Then yes, it can do it. It will find the drivers on its own of not do the following:

Right-click "My Computer," click "Manage" and then open "Device Manager." Find your display adapter in the list of devices, right-click on it and choose "Update Driver." Windows will search online for valid updates and install them automatically. You will likely be prompted to restart your computer if Windows manages to install an upgrade for your video card: new drivers will not work properly until your computer is restarted.

This same method can be used to install driver updates for other devices, such as sound cards and network cards.

while the workstation boots up, pass to BIOS settings by ability of urgent F2 or Del key. pass to BIOS constructive aspects setup or boot sequence menu and alter the 1st boot gadget to CD-ROM. Then keep the settings and go out BIOS. workstation will restart. placed the bootable winxp CD in to the ROM . Then carry on with the training for sure and it's going to in no way be a no longer common activity

There is nothing wrong with windows 7, xp is worse so just leave it.
