Do I get the copyright on my songs AFTER I've bought FL Studios?

Hi! I've uploaded music on the net that I've made myself. Problem is, that they're made with a pirated version of FL Studios, meaning that I don't have any copyright on them. I feel really bad for this and have decided to buy a legal copy (Signature Bundle). Will I get the copyright of my songs if I do that? Nowhere does the developers say (as far as I know) that you need to have made the tracks with a legal copy; they only state that you need to own a legal copy.

Of couse .. whatever you made is yours .. not really sure why you would come out and say you made it with a pirated version. No one would of ever known, not even the company and even if you did. You could always say you purchased the software from a a guy on the street for a few bucks and didnt know it was pirated or something like that but as far as anyone taking the copyrights as long as you have proof that you made it no one will ever.

Cheers.

PS. The question here , if any , should be .. Can they sue me for using a pirated version of their sofware? lol

It's not really related, but it is best to have a legal copy of the software especially if you want to sell your music or prove you made it.

For copyright, you just have to be able to prove you are the one who made a song. If you have the "blueprints" and someone else just has an mp3, you can prove that you made it.

In case you didn't buy FL Studio yet, here is a promo link to get a 10% discount: https://support.image-line.com/jshop/shop.php?offer=Default&promo=EDAJCI416

Copyright occurs when you first write down the material. Don't worry about the illegal copy when you have the paid for version.
