Have you checked your speakers and made sure all is plugged in? I know it sounds like a duh question but you wouldn't believe the people that have pc probs and the simplest answer sometimes is NOT the most obvious. Check and see if your mic is plugged into the right port as well. Reboot and try installing the drivers again. Check your Device Manager as well and look for a yellow question mark notifying you that there is a prob. You might need to delete and reinstall.

Hope this helps!

Vista doesn't like USB mics.

Are you using the headset with 2 inputs or single USB input?

If it's an USB headset I lost a lot of time trying to figure out a solution for it.. It seems to be more efficient to just buy the dual input headset for vista operating systems. Especially when Vista doesn't recognize that you have the headset plugged in.

It appears like you may have a constructed-in sound card and those are infamous for quantity issues, they do not have the grunt of correct sound playing cards. You have got to supply us extra main points of your pc and OS earlier than any clever answers might be provided.
