A dialog box came up for updating my Adobe Flash Player. I clcked yes and I've been having problems since then. I can no longer view You tube videos and can't hear sound on some web sites. When I try to view a You Tube video, I see an error messagae that I either have Java Script disabled or I am using an old version of adobe player. I have java script enabled and since I just upgraded I have a current version of adobe player. Please Help!

To fix flash player in Vista:

Open the following folder c:\windows\system32\macromed\flash

Look for a file that starts with "FlashUtil9". You may see more than one. Each file has a letter next to it (e.g. FlashUtil9c, FlashUtil9d).

Right click on the one with the letter highest in the alphabet and run as administrator.

That should install the latest version.

Good luck.
