What I have is a mad lib-type letter that I want to make customizable for different industries. I want to make the document such that when I change a word in the title (from 'mechanics' to 'dentists') it will automatically update all of the fields in the letter that appear ('type of business person', 'industry', etc.). I have 23 different customizable fields in the letter and have tried links and drop down menus, but each will take a really long time to change a full document to suit an industry. How do it make it happen? Thanks!

Are you still using MS Word? Get with the Program! Literally, Adobe makes a program that is much easier to use, of course is more expensive, but does the same thing much easier. But if you don't know how to do it, it is much harder.

I think a Mail Merge may be what your looking for.

Check out Tools/ Letters and Mailings/Mail Merge Wizard

This allows you to have all your customizable data in an external file, then when you go to print, you select which (In your case) industry/s you wish to print.
