Tell it to stop blocking attachments that may be suspicious, its a check box somewhere.

If your using your local ISP you may have to do the following, I had to set mine up also.

1. Click to open Outlook 2007 and click Tools > Account Settings.

2. On the E-mail tab, select the New button.

3. If you are asked to select an E-mail Service, select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP and click Next. If you are not asked to select an E-mail Service, proceed to Step 4.

4. Enter your name, your complete FrontierNet, Citlink/CTAZ, NewNorth, Epix, or GVNI e-mail address, and Password. Place a checkmark in the field to the left of Manually configure server settings or additional service types and click Next.

5. Select Internet E-mail and click Next.

6. Under Server Information, select POP3 for the account type. Enter the appropriate POP3 and SMTP servers. For Logon Information, enter your complete FrontierNet, Citlink/CTAZ, Newnorth, Epix, or GVNI e-mail address for the User Name and your password in the Password field.

7. Click More Settings, and select the Outgoing Server tab.

8. Place a checkmark in the box to the left of My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Make sure Log on using is also selected. Enter your complete FrontierNet, Citlink/CTAZ, Newnorth, Epix, or GVNI e-mail address for the User Name, and enter your password in the Password field.

9. Click OK, and then click Next.

10. Click Finish.

That's it!

Your ISP can also have a limitation set for outgoing email. This limitation is the size of an email with the attachment. In some cases it's allotted for 2mb.

Use your browser to log into the e mail account.  If it is your ISP e mail handle, then flow in the process the ISP's website;  if Yahoo, Hotmail, etc., then flow to that website and log in.

To help protect your computer, Microsoft Office Outlook does not allow you to receive files of certain types (such as .exe files) as attachments, because of their potential for introducing a virus into your computer. Outlook blocks these files by default.
