I want to be able to click on a box and have it take me to another slide in the presentation, then click another box and have it take me back to the original slide.

I've been told that I need to make the slide into a powerpoint object (like clip art) but I don't know how to do this either.

Nothing tricky to it...

Draw your box on slide 1.

Right click on the box.

Select "Hyperlink."

Select "Place in this Document"

Choose the slide number you want it to go to.

Hit okay.

Go to that slide, make another box, go to hyperlink and set it to slide 1.

That's it.

Use action button.

Insert-Shapes-Action Buttons, click the one you need and dray it out on the slide, then make the settings.
